Saturday April 7th we fell off the Jillian band wagon for two days and somehow we have not made it back to the exercising routine. Monday will change all that. We've okay about sticking to the diet, but I am realizing I cannot tell myself no all the time. When I do that it makes me feel like I can never have anything I want and makes it more like a diet than a lifestyle change.
We ordered Jill's complete cookbook, and it has some desserts and other snacks in it, I am looking forward to having a few more choices.
I promise to be better about keeping up with you here, and I will be more committed about my weight loss :)

Week One in Review
Wow how the time does fly!!! I truly meant to have this up Wednesday morning but my schedule has gotten away from me.
Well let me say this...week one was horrible! No carbs and no fruit=drained, tired, zombie like beings! We ended up cheating a teeny tiny bit...ooops! We split 1.5 chocolate marshmallow easter eggs, meaning we both had 75 extra calories...but oh so glorious calories they were! My body ingested the sugar, and it was like life being pumped through my body. Oh so worth it! Saturday we went down town to check out the new City Creek Center....that was an adventure for sure. This last weekend was LDS general conference and there were about a bagillion people there. The mall is awesome though! Truly a site to see great stores and great restraunts which we will not be enjoying anytime soon :( So we walked downtown for like 3.5 hours, it was awesome! Then it was off to do the dreaded grocery shopping.
The food on this diet plan really is good, but its not things that I think the average person really eats. Therefore it took a lot of planning and hunting, so if anyone decides to do this let me know and I can email you the shopping list that I compiled. Definitely takes a lot of planning. So off we went to Costco 2 hrs, Sams Club .5 hrs, Winco 2.5 hrs, and Sunday Sunflower market .5 hrs. Thats 5.5 hrs of just grocery shopping...see below for the haul that came in :) we had a small strawberry shortcake sample at Sams... I know we are sooooo bbbbaaaaddd!!!
After the first week the food gets better and there is more of it. I don't feel like I am starving anymore and we have fruit, carbs, and dark chocolate in our diet! Yahoo praise the Lord!!!!
Now onto the good stuff! We weighed in Tuesday night @ 9:30 p.m. which is the same time we weighed in originally. Mr. C weighed in at 180 meaning he lost 11 lbs in the first week! Good job baby I am so proud of you!!! Keep up the good work. Then there was me. I weighed in at 149 which is 5 lbs lost in one week. Not as good as my sweet hubby, but still pretty damn good!
We decided not to post pictures every week but every month instead...so be on the look out :)

Welcome and Week 1
Welcome to our crazy attempt at Body Revolution w/ Jillian Michaels! My name is Rickie and along with my husband John we will be keeping this blog up to date at least once per week. For those of you who have not heard of Body Revolution, here’s the scoop. Jillian was the bad a** coach of Biggest Loser who left after 10 seasons. Her ability to whip people into shape and also take them through the psychological steps of becoming well has made her an international phenomenon. Body Revolution is for everyone! It literally take 30 minutes a day! Really it doesn’t take hours upon hours, just 30 minutes 6 days per week. The hardest part is the diet….don’t get me wrong, the diet is completely doable but it does take some getting used to.
We decided to start the blog for accountability. Hopefully by gaining some followers you all will keep us honest J So week one! We decided to do the Kick Start you Metabolism, which is designed to get your metabolism in gear! There are 3 breakfast, 3 lunches, 3 snacks, and 3 dinners to choose from. As I write this blog it is currently day 5 for us meaning we have tried every option in the book. Here are my reviews (opinions)
